1. Attack that has a 20% chance of ignoring defense
2. Attack that removes a buff. (3 turn recharge)
3. AoE attack 3 times. If a monster dies during this attack, get another turn. (6 turn recharge)
From the skills above, you can see that a high power build is one way you will want to go with him. This is what I am going to do with him as I have tried a high critical build and I am not satisfied that it uses this monster to it's full potential.
Really early Game runes:
2: 3* spd or atk
4: atk
6: atk
When the base atk stat for this monster reaches 232, switch to 3* atk% runes in place of the regular atk runes.
I prefer to use SPD in the #2 slot so that my monster has decent speed to get the attacks in, but that is just me. If you have awakened, or already have this monster awakened when you got him, then I would stick to just pure atk or atk% runes.
Now for rune types:
-using fatal runes might not be a bad idea, as by lvl 25 at 3*, that is 236*0.3 = 71 attack
-using energy runes might be a good idea too as then we can keep this heavy hitter in the game longer
-using at least one set of blade runes would be nice to increase the crit rating to have a ~1/3 chance of dealing a critical, which does 1.5x damage out of the box.
Now, considering that none of the skills the bounty hunter has any benefit by crit, it makes more sense to have 15% more base hp rather than 12% crit chance. Having staying power makes a difference.
TL;DR
My choice of rune types:
Fatal
Energy
11/3/14
An update that I am going to try out is the following:
despair/energy
2,4,6 atk%
rune stat choices:
use 3* runes if you can
2: spd (atk if awakened)
4: atk
6: atk
